Workshop description

Mayumi will introduce Botanical printing using fresh leaves and flowers along with minerals to transfer natural colors and shapes from plants onto fiber. It is like printing a photo directly from the leaves to the fabric. This introduction class will give you the understanding of dyeing plants and our relation with nature.  You will go home with a beautiful one of a kind silk scarf dyed with fresh plants from the Bay Area.
