Join British landscape designer Jo Thompson and landscape architecture design studio TERREMOTO in conversation on the use of color in the garden, garden design, and choosing plants for your Bay Area garden.
Jo Thompson’s beautiful new book, The Gardener’s Palette, published in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society, shares an entirely new way for home gardeners to confidently incorporate color at home. Working with the RHS color charts and using them almost as paint swatches, Jo Thompson offers 100 evocative and fresh palettes, pairs them with images of her own and other designers’ work, and breaks them down with charts showing the exact plants used.
Jo will be in conversation with Alain Peauroi from the San Francisco office of TERREMOTO, who will share the TERREMOTO vision of a garden, use of color, and recommend plants suitable for San Francisco gardens and landscapes.

TERREMOTO creates well built, site-specific landscapes that respond to client needs while simultaneously challenging historical + contemporary landscape construction methods, materials, and formal conventions.
