Easy Garden Sketching

Eileen will start by showing her sketch kits and talk about how to put together a small portable kit. There will be a demonstration how to simplify the forms of the plants to really see the shapes, add shadows and color. We will visit the Succulent garden.

Materials included:

Watercolor paper, a small paint palette, water brush and a fountain pen.

If you have a sketch kit that you use, please bring it.

As a fulltime artist, Eileen P. Goldenberg creates Ceramics, Encaustic Paintings and goes out every day sketching. She is also a fountain pen expert. She has won many awards including “Best of Show” at the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival. Eileen has been teaching art for over  45 years
