Easy Garden Sketching with Eileen P. Goldenberg

Location: Moon Viewing Garden - We will meet at the Main Gate at 10:50am and walk over together.

We will meet at the front gate and walk over to the Moon Viewing Platform. This is a wonderful spot with a very interesting tree hanging over the platform and exciting reflections in the water. Eileen will demo how to start your sketch with big shapes, find the shadows and then add color. You will receive a free sketch kit with everything you need to start sketching. Please bring a small stool if you have one. If it rains we will sketch in the SFBG Library.

Eileen P. Goldenberg is an award-winning artist who exhibits her art at many prestigious art fairs. She loves urban sketching and has been teaching art for over 45 years. Her positive way of teaching will inspire you to sketch every day! The class will include a FREE Sketch kit to get you started, including a small palette, water brush, pen, pencil, watercolor paper book and binder clip. If you have a sketch kit please bring it, a small folding stool that would be great as well.

Cancellation/refund policy: Tickets are not refundable within 2 days of workshop date. Refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If an event or workshop must be postponed or canceled due to circumstances such as inclement weather, you will receive an email notification/ticket refund to the original method of payment.
