What better place than the Botanical Garden to feature a new book, Girls Who Green the World: Thirty-Four Rebel Women Out to Save Our Planet, that celebrates young women crusading to save the planet?

This all-ages event will center around journalist/author Diana Kapp, in conversation with author Leslie Roberts. Together they wlll explore the best ways for young women to make a difference, despite the odds. In praising the book, Mary Robinson (the first female president of Ireland and former UN human rights commissioner) said, "it is the can-do, hopeful book we need right now to promote youth action on our climate crisis.”

FREE with Garden admission; $5-10 suggested donation
