About the Event

Learn how to grow cannabis in your garden! Penny Barthel, author of "The Cannabis Gardener", will teach new and experienced gardeners alike all about this fascinating, easy to grow plant. We'll explore everything a canna-curious greenthumb needs to know to grow cannabis outside, in the sunshine, at home. From seedling to lush midsummer plant to sticky bud, this plant offers delights and joy in the garden. We'll begin with a brief history and biology of cannabis, journey through the growing calendar from seed to harvest, and delve into specific growing tips for a variety of garden spaces - including growing in containers on a sunny patio or rooftop. The hour will conclude with Q & A and book signing.
