Join San Francisco garden educator, Carey Craddock, for a workshop on growing your own herbs in a small garden space. If you don’t have a garden but still want to pick your own herbs, this class is for you! If you want tips on the herbs you already have growing in your garden, this class is for you!

About the event
Join San Francisco garden educator, Carey Craddock, for a workshop on growing your own herbs in a small garden space. If you don’t have a garden, but still want to pick your own herbs, this class is for you! If you want tips on the herbs you already have growing in your garden, this class is for you! We will cover all aspects of growing culinary and medicinal herbs, including: what grows here, soil fertility, organic pest control, watering, as well as harvesting and using your herbs. Participants will get to start their own small container of herbal seeds or cuttings to take home!

About Carey Craddock:
Carey Craddock has been gardening in San Francisco, since1997. She loves plants for both their beauty and their edible bounty. She is the owner of Carey Craddock Gardens, a small San Francisco garden design and maintenance business, with a focus on site specific, ecological gardens. Carey began her SF horticultural career through an internship at the Garden for the Environment, where she worked until 2003. She studied at the CCSF horticulture program, and has taught classes at the Garden for the Environment, and many other organizations around the Bay Area since 1999.
