Virtual Artist Reception with Erin E. Hunter

Join us for a Virtual Artist Reception on Zoom to welcome Erin E. Hunter and her wonderful art exhibition to San Francisco Botanical Garden. We will virtually join Erin in her home studio on California's Central Coast, where she will share insights into her deeply researched fine art paintings, which focus on wildflowers and pollinators with an eye to wildlife preservation. Her unique and engaging art is informed by her work as a science illustrator, together with the field experience she gained as an artist-in-residence at several national parks. During the reception, Erin will share insights about her personal background and creative process.

Visit this exhibit in person! Wild Nectar: Paintings of Flora and Pollinators will be on display and for sale in the Library from January 7 - April 30. Original paintings feature the intertwining of wildflowers and their floral visitors.
