What do volunteers do at San Francisco Botanical Garden?
Lead public tours and interpretation stations as a Docent. Greet visitors as a volunteer at the Bookstore, the Library, and the Plant Arbor. Get your hands in the dirt and assist with garden maintenance with the Green Team. Assist the Nursery with plant propagation and plant sales. Explore the Garden with kids as a Children's Walk Guide. And more!
During this orientation you'll learn about the many ways to volunteer at the Garden. We'll take a brief tour (virtual or physical, depending on daylight and weather) of the collections and visit volunteer hotspots.
Volunteer Requirements:
    Be at least 18 years of age
    Submit a volunteer application
    Attend New Volunteer orientation (this!)
    Complete an interview with program supervisor
    Contribute a minimum of 50 hours per year
