About the event
Join Diné poet Kinsale Drake for a free hour-long praise poetry workshop centering nature, gratitude, Indigenous poetics, and external observation. No experience necessary, just excitement and a love of meditating/writing required!
Kinsale Drake (Diné) is a writer and narrator whose work has appeared in The Adroit Journal, Yale Literary Magazine, TIME, NPR, Torrey House Press, Abalone Mountain Press, and elsewhere. She currently edits Changing Wxman Collective. She is an Indigenous Nations Poets Fellow, and, recently, the winner of the Academy of American Poets Prize/ Sean T. Lannan Prize for Poetry, and the Young Native Playwrights Award.
