About the event

Listening is a relational phenomenon. Deep Listening®️ is a practice that was developed by the late composer Pauline Oliveros. We will slow down and explore different modes of attention through sound and movement. The world is not yet fully known. Another kind of knowledge is amassed through observation; it happens in sensation. We relate to our environment and to each other by virtue of our common immersion in the flux of the air. We will use Oliveros’ sonic meditation scores as tools for our exploration.

Deep Listening will take place on Saturday, January 11th, at 8:00am until 10:00am.
