In love with the world of plants, birds, and critters, Mary Ellen King finds pleasure and fulfillment drawing nature, working primarily in colored pencil, graphite, and pen and ink. She graduated from the UCLA Film School, has worked on documentary films, and did her graduate work at the Humboldt State University College of Natural Resources.
