Elizabeth Peyton: Since I moved to California from Connecticut 10 years ago, I have twice participated in group exhibits at the Helen Crocker Russell Library. During visits to the Botanical Gardens, I photographed my favorite tree, the Monterey Cypress, at the entrance to the gardens, plus several Monterey pines. The drawings in this exhibit are the result. My studio is in Graton, California, and is open by appointment.
